Douglas C. Freeman is the CEO of Virtcom Consulting, a strategy management consultancy focused on solving complex global diversity management challenges. Mr. Freeman is also the founder of the World Diversity Leadership Summit, the premier gathering of senior global diversity executives.

Prior to Virtcom, Mr. Freeman served as the Head of Business Development and Operations for Mondus, where he was involved with raising over $170M in private equity financing. He was also a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, and an investment banker at JP Morgan Chase (formerly Chase Securities).

Mr. Freeman holds a Master in Public Policy degree from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government where he was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

Christian M. Baldia,
Principal, Virtcom Consulting

Christian Baldia, WDLS 2008, Virtcom Consulting

Christian Baldia is a Principal at Virtcom Consulting. He also teaches an undergraduate course on Business Policy and Strategy at the College University of New York (MEC).

Prior to Virtcom, Christian Baldia served at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a Senior Financial/ Economic Analyst in the Policy and Analysis division of the Bank Supervision Group. Immediately before that, Mr. Baldia worked as an investment banker in mergers and acquisitions at Butler, Chapman & Co. and in municipal finance at PaineWebber (now UBS PaineWebber). Mr. Baldia also served for four years in the Clinton Administration as a Senior Policy Analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and as a staff member for the White House in the Office of
Presidential Personnel.

Prior to those positions, he had worked as a volunteer for the Clinton-Gore Presidential campaign
and for the Presidential transition team.

He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh ’s University Honors College and earned a masters
degree from Harvard University ’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
