What is the World Diversity Leadership Summit?
TheWorld Diversity Leadership Summit is an important gathering of senior corporate, government and non-governments organization (NGO) officials, focused on the complex challenges and opportunities related to global diversity management.
How many people attended the conference last year?

Are there any evening events?
Yes. The conference opens with a welcome reception on Wednesday, July 9th at Saks Fifth Avenue Flagship Store. On Thursday, July 10th, a reception will be held at the UN.
How much is the conference registration fee?
- Early bird registration (March 26 – May 16): $995
- General registration (May 17 – June 15): $1295
- Late registration (June 16 – July 3): $1495
Can I register on-site?
No.
Does my registration fee include hotel accommodations?
No. Your registration fee includes participation in the conference sessions and workshops, conference materials, opening and closing receptions.

Can registered participants attend all the sessions and events?
Registered participants have open access to all activities listed in the conference agenda, with the exception of the ROI Boot Camp and C-Suite workshop.
Can I purchase single tickets for individual events?
Single tickets are not available.
Are meals included in the registration package?
Yes. All group meals at the United Nations are included during the conference, beginning with Monday’s welcome reception through Wednesday’s evening reception.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancellations received on or before Monday, June 9th, 2008 will NOT incur a cancellation fee. $75 will be charged for all cancellations after June 10th, 2008. No refunds will be issued after Wednesday, June 25th, 2008. All cancellations and name substitutions must be submitted in writing via email to info@virtcomconsulting.com
If I have already registered but cannot attend, can I send someone else in my place?
WDLS will accept a name change if the request is received in writing via email to info@virtcomconsulting.com by July 3rd, 2008. All name change requests must be submitted by the original registrant.
I'm interested in being a speaker at the conference. Have speakers been selected yet?

Where is the conference being held?
The World Diversity Leadership Summit is being held at the United Nations Headquarters, 1st Avenue & 46th Street, New York, N.Y. 10017.
Am I responsible for arranging and paying for my own air travel?
Yes.
What is the closest airport?
LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy, and Newark are the closest airports to the United Nations and the Hilton New York.
How far is the hotel from the airport?
The Hilton New York is approximately 17 minutes from LaGuardia Airport, 27 minutes from JFK Airport, and 28 minutes from Newark Airport.
How much will a cab ride from the airport to the hotel cost?
Approximate cab fare from LGA to the hotel ranges from $21 to $30 plus tolls, JFK has a flat-rate of $45 plus tolls, and Newark airport prices to New York City range from $45 to $60.
Is there a Shuttle Service from the airport to the hotel?
There are various shuttle services that leave from the airports to the hotel. Registrants are encouraged to reserve this service at their own discretion.
Is there a walk-up limo service?
Registrants can reserve this service at their own discretion
What time is hotel check-in/check-out?
You may process your check-in time anytime upon your arrival. Your room will be ready at 3:00 p.m. The bell desk can assist with luggage handling and storage. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
Are gratuities (i.e. tips) included or is this my responsibility?
WDLS is covering the gratuities for the banquet staff only during the conference. Tips for hotel service such as bell stand, valet, housekeeping, etc. is at your discretion and your expense.
